How You Can Help
The Hillman Academy helps students enter science fairs as well as aiding them with applying for scientific scholarship competitions and to colleges. Before the pandemic, the Hillman Academy launched an outreach program that visited local high schools and community-based organizations like Funding for the Advancement of Minorities through Education (FAME), Homeless Children’s Education Fund (HCEF), and Remake Learning. In addition, we hosted events on campus to perform tailored experiments with the students. The Hillman Academy is searching for graduate students, postdocs, and faculty to serve as year-wide mentors to help the students.
